Greetings, friends! I have been blessed this month to be able to pray for you–I’ve gotten your comments, messages and emails and have been thinking on you all week. It would be an honor to do the same again…
How can I pray for you this week?
For the month of April, I’d like to pray for you each week and if you have anything on your mind or heart, please feel free to share here and I’ll be adding it to my prayer list. If you’d rather email it to me, you can do that directly on my contact page.
Lastly, I have a little prayer request of my own: My sweet aunt is facing cancer again and today begins a new round of chemo. She’s a brave spirit with a heart of gold and we have all been blessed by her. I’ll be thinking of her and praying for all of you today. Thank you and hugs!

Hi Diana! I will be surely praying for you and your health. I’m so sorry to hear that you’ve been under the weather. Also sending a prayer for extra time for rest. Thank you so much for those prayers for my aunt.
Joanne, how sweet of you. I’m having a few conflicts in my life right now. A new health problem, serious but curable. Just frustrating along side the arthritis. I am also trying to decide about changing where I live. This has been a big issue with me. Huge! I put it in His hands but having someone else pray for me would be wonderful. I will lift your aunt up in my prayers. You are so very kind to offer to pray for us and because of that, I will thank Him for you. Please let us know how your aunt is doing. Again, many thanks ~ shirley davidson
Shirley,
Sending a hug your way for all these things going on at once. Praying for your health and all that’s happening there and also as you face this big decision of possibly needing to move. That can always be such a trial, but just praying that God plants you in the perfect spot that He has planned for you. And thank you also for those prayers for my aunt. They are so appreciated.
Joining in prayer for your aunt, dear friend!! <3 Sending a giant hug and a heart full of thanks for your prayers!
Thank you dear one! I’ll take that hug <3 and sending a squeezy one in your direction!
My dad was let go from his job last Friday. He had only been doing it for 11 months and they moved from CO to OR because of it. I had a very hard time with the move last fall and I withdrew from college because of it. I am currently back in CO, and I am having feelings of anxiety. Prayers would be appreciated for me and that my dad can find a new job in OR so they don’t have to move back to CO!
Oh Marissa, I am so sorry to hear all of this. These changes can really feel like such a mountain, especially when we’ve been spending so much time climbing big hills to get there. I’ll be praying for all of you during this time for peace and comfort and also for the new directions to fall into place just as God has planned. Sending you a hug!
Thank you for continued prayers, Joanne!! My mastectomy is Thurs. May 8th. I’m saying prayers for your aunt, the other commenters, and also you, your writing and family – dear Joanne!! Blessings, joy, peace, love and hugs to you, Joanne!!
Bonnie,
Praying for you all has really encouraged me this month and I’ve been thinking of you each week. I will keep you in my prayers continually. You have so much going on and my prayer is always for God to just cover you with His comfort as you take each step of this journey. Praying also for good rest as you continue on.
Joanne, I’m sorry to hear about your aunt’s cancer returning. I will certainly pray for her (and your family).
Thank you for all your prayers this month! You are greatly appreciated.
When you reach my name on your list, please pray for your aunt. Her chemo is much more important than my writing issues or singleness. These things I face are small compared to the battle she’s got before her.
Love you!
Andrea
Andrea,
That is so sweet of you. I am so touched and know those prayers are going to be so encouraging to my aunt. She did well yesterday but her nurse/daughter mentioned how difficult the second day will be, and onward, so those prayers are a huge blessing.
I’ll still be praying for you and your writing as well!
I figured you would. Thank you so much. It’s a pleasure to pray for you and your aunt. That may be the only way I can help, but God will hear us. He will answer in His way. God is still God, and God is still good.
Joanne, My husband, Dennis, has had prostate cancer for the past seven years. Two months ago we were told that it has spread to his bones. Please pray for a miracle that the Lord will heal him. Thanks so much and God bless, Joanna
Joanna, I am so sorry to hear this. Words can’t even express the hurt and ache when those dearest to us are hurting. I will surely be praying for your husband and his health and also for both of you, for God’s comforting presence through all of this. Hugs to you!
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today. Each comment is a little bit of encouragement and I really do appreciate that! Love your blog and the fact that you are a Christian writer is wonderful! (((hugz)))
Hi Lil! It’s lovely to get to meet you! I enjoyed your blog and have that recipe on my mind today! 🙂 I’m trying to eat healthier, so that one is one I’m going to surely try. Thank you for stopping by and for YOUR sweet encouragement!
Please. Pray for my 13 yr. old GRANDAUGHTER, she is going through some very rough waters right now…her mother is an alcholic…and living with a guy….I could go on and on. I’m trusting God to deliver her some how from this…would so appreciate your prayers.
