We don't have television so there's not a whole lot to do but hang out doing all kinds of things. :)Single parenting brings its own challenges, I'd imagine and it sounds like you provided for them in all the ways you could. I'm sure they were blessed to have you!

I just loved this post and seeing the pictures of your family, Joanne – I love seeing parents enjoying spending time with their children. Even more so, I feel, because I was a single parent who had to work more than one job at a time and never got to spend as much time with my children as I wanted to and should have. You are making wonderful memories for both your children and yourselves, memories and values that will continue from generation to generation. You are so blessed to have your beautiful children and they are blessed to have both you and your husband as parents – TOO many children have parents who don’t care enough, or make the time, to do things with them, guide them in the right direction, and teach them about God!!
