Inside scoop, that image wasn’t on the original shortlist of three that I got from my editor. I found it buried in the other options they’d considered. Thank goodness she was prepared to take my list of reasons as to why that one was better than their favourites back to the team (or maybe she sensed my desperation all the way from New Zealand!)

Yes, Sally’s is so gasp-worthy. And agree about Melissa’s. Those contemporary ones really shine. I really appreciate how designers are taking the designs to new places. Allowing characters to be very real and un-posey, shines so through as being better than ever.
