Let’s make Sourdough waffles!
Hello reader friends! It’s been a while since I’ve put a recipe up on my YouTube channel and this week, I’m so excited to share with you one of my favorites: Sourdough Waffles.
This recipe is perfect for using your sourdough discard! Whether you have a sourdough starter or not, this recipe is for you. I’ll cover a few basic sourdough tips along with my family’s favorite sourdough waffle recipe. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do! Recipe:
Night sponge
2 cups of flour
2 cups of milk
2 tsp of sugar
1 cup of sourdough starter
Morning batter: Add these four ingredients to the batter which will now be a sponge and should be thick and bubbly.
2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup of oil
Cook in your waffle iron and enjoy!
