Hi everyone!
If you read last weeks blog post you may remember that I have a little time on my hands lately and there’s nothing like an author with time on her hands in possession of a web cam 😀
This week I’ve put together a little video to ask you all a particular question AND to give something away 🙂
Update:
I drew a commenter to get the copy of THOUGH MY HEART IS TORN : Brittany McEuen
AND as I mentioned on my Facebook page, I wanted to draw a bonus winner to get a copy of BE STILL MY SOUL and that commenter is: Bonnie Roof
Congratulations Bonnie and Brittany!
And thanks to everyone for stopping in and visiting!
I haven’t read your books, but I’ve heard SOOO many good things about them, I’ve added them to my summer reading list! Congrats, Joanne!
Aw, thanks, Jill! I’m so glad to hear it…that means a lot! I hope you enjoy the books!! 🙂
My question is, since I have read absolutely both of your novels, may I have one of your fantastic handmade little rag rugs instead??
I am so loving your stories and the suspense; I can feel the cool breeze among the fir trees and hear the whistle of the birds ~ looking forward to hearing some of YOUR mandolin playing, hint hint.
Thankful for you and enjoy your summer months. Don’t put my address far away! hugs, Kathleen ~ Lane Hill House
Yes, your address will stay close! Those ARCs for book 3 are going to be ready soon 🙂 I’m glad you like those rugs! They are fun to make. Someday soon I hope to make another one.
I’m so glad that you’ve been reading and enjoying the series. You’ve been a great encouragement along the road and I’m excited for you to get My Hope is Found!
Thank you, Joanne. Kathleen 😀
In your 2nd book, your scripture reference for the final question on your discussion page is 1 Peter 5:10. I loved how your characters (pretty much ALL of your characters) journey through this verse in their individual struggles. Very poignant for us, your readers, to look at experiences in our lives in this light, also.
I am so glad that the verse stood out to you like that and that you were able to see it unfold in the characters lives. That has been my hope! 1 Peter 5:10 is such an encouraging verse because no matter where life takes us, God is there each step of the way 🙂
I have read and loved your first two books. I can’t wait for the third one. Thanks for the personal touches you have extended to your fans; it makes reading your books that much more special. Continued success to you, and may God bless you.
Thank you, Joanna! That means a lot! I really love getting to visit with you all in these little ways. Readers are truly the heart of a writers life. I am so thankful for you all.
I’m so glad that you enjoyed reading the first 2 books and are looking forward to the third 🙂
Joanne,
I will say that I am patiently awaiting the third (and final, which does tear at my heart) installment of the Cadence of Grace Series. Definitely stretching the truth just a bit, as I think I am most impatient in my wait.
Will there be more Appalachian based stories in our future, or do you have characters dancing around in that brain from an entirely different area?
I would so encourage anyone who has not read these books, go today!
Godspeed sweet girl.
Melody,
Your comment warms my heart. Blessed that you all have been a part of this series and it’s bittersweet for me, too, to see it drawing to an end. When I turned in the final manuscript for My Hope is Found, it was a mixture of emotions, knowing that the story was complete. But YES! To answer your question…I have more Appalachian romance stories in the works. I’m not sure what’s going to happen with them just yet, but I’m putting the ideas together and have some stories that I would LOVE to write. Praying and waiting in God’s timing now with them and I’ll be sure to let you all know if/when those doors open! 🙂
P.S. I have a little package here for you! 😀
I’ve not yet read your 2nd book but its on my short list of books
I’m going to read! Love reading historical Christian fiction.
Hi Trisha! So glad to know that you’re planning on reading the 2nd book 🙂 It’s fun to see where everyone is at. Thanks for reading the series and I pray the books bless you!!
I have only read the first book “Be Still My Soul”. Would love to own the second book also. I’m on a tight budget right now and haven’t been able to purchase it.
I enjoy reading anything you post about the books. I need to go back and re-read the first book since it has been awhile. Then I’m sure I will have a question for you.
Having read a lot of Christian fiction, wanted to let you know you are a unique voice in that genre. Haven’t read anything quite like your book before. That’s a good thing!
Martha,
It’s great to know that you’ve read the first book. I completely understand how it can be with there sometimes just not being room in the budget to buy a new book. You are most definitely entered in the giveaway and also, your librarian, if you request the book to her, can often order it for your library! That can be a great way to go.
Thank you for your sweet words about the series. It means so much to me to know that the story touched you and stood out to you like that. Thank you!
Your books are in my cart at Amazon. I hope to be able to get them soon. I keep up with you on facebook and by e-mail. Thanks!! I can’t wait to read your books and would love to win a book from you.
susanlulu@yahoo.com
Hi Susan! It’s so great to get to stay in touch these ways 🙂 A HUGE thank you for adding the books to your cart. If you get the chance to read them, I so hope you enjoy them! I’ll be sure to enter you for the giveaway, too!
I read all of the comments so far, Joanne, and I do believe it is unanimous. This series is a hit and has touched hearts everywhere. Of course you know that I have read Books 1 and 2 and anxiously awaiting Book 3. I can’t wait to see how you are wrapping it all up. Yes, it is so sad to know that Gideon and Lonnie’s story is ending. But on the other hand, I know that you will pen yet another wonderful tale for us all to enjoy one day. God has truly blessed you in your writing and I know that He is far from being done with you. And may I say that you are downright adorable! You are such a sweet lady and I thank God that He led me to your books. I have been blessed by them and by your sweet spirit. Oh, and you don’t want to hear my question because you would have to do a ‘spoiler alert’ to answer it. Hahaha! Hugs and God bless.
Your ‘downright adorable’ comment made me smile 🙂 I watched the video back and thought “oh, dear. I really could have done something with my hair there” LOL
You’ve been such a blessing to me since this series has come out and I just can’t say thank you enough. I’m so glad that you’re looking forward to book 3. I’m working on the copy edits right now and the story is getting soooo close! Hugs!
I have this one on the top of my list. I loved your first very much! I’m so excited to see what God does through you next.
Hi Lisa!
Yay! That means a ton to me and I’ve so valued your encouragement and sweet comments along the journey. Praying God’s blessings on your own writing journey!
Hi, Joanne!
Haven’t read any of your books yet, but hoping I will have the opportunity very soon. I have been following your comments, as well as those of many others, re: your books & your lifestyle.
Love your storylines & love books about Appalachia (I live in Ky., not too far from part of Appalachia)- also enjoy printing out your recipes. Just wondering why you chose Appalachia as the setting for your books.
I appreciate your kind, giving, humble personality & would love to win one of your books!
Thanks from a “sister” in Christ!
Bonnie,
Waving at you in KY!! 🙂
It’s encouraging to know that you’ve been following along and are interested in reading the series… thank you!
That’s a great question– the reason I chose Appalachia was sort of a surprise one. IT wasn’t a conscious choice, I don’t recall, but as the characters for Be Still My Soul, began to come together, I saw their lives right there in the mountains. It sort of came to be on it’s own, and the funny thing is, as soon as I began writing about the region, as a writer, it felt like coming home. I knew this was the place I wanted to write historical romance. 🙂
Thanks for your comment & I hope you have a lovely day!
I have read the first two books, and I loved reading theme. I cannot wait to read the third book. Your writing takes the readings the setting and I believe the Cadence of Grace is really showing readings all about grace in many ways. Thank you of rising your talents to share that.
Thank you so much, Beth-Anne for your thoughtful comment. That means so much to me. I’m glad to hear that you are invested in the series and I pray that My Hope is Found will be a grace filled and joyous ending for you as a reader. Thanks for being here!
I have not read any of your books but am going to rectify that as quickly as humanly possible! I loved the video chat! It made you real to me…not just an author’s name on a book. Can I have a rain check on your question?
Oh, Linda, this made me smile!! I’m so glad that you’re interested in reading them as quickly as humanly possible. I so, so hope that you enjoy them and that they bless you! Yes, please, do… you have officially been issued a rain check to cash in after you read 😀 Have a great day!
Both of your novels really stand out to me in both the historical fiction and inspirational fiction markets, in just the depth of the characters and story. The Appalachian setting was marvelous and refreshing! These novels have pulled on my emotional heartstrings more so than most of the books I have read in recent years (and that doesn’t happen easily for me). I am on tenterhooks to see how the rest of the story unfolds for Lonnie and Gideon. I also really appreciate the changes that happen for your characters. It makes them so relatable and feel so much more real.
I have to say that your writing is beautiful- and has inspired me to pick up my own pen, which is difficult to get started at times. So my question for you, is what do you find to be the hardest part of writing a novel?
Hi Dana!
I wish I could describe how much it means to me that these stories have tugged those heartstrings of yours. That’s never an easy thing to do as a writer and I always hope and pray the these stories will dive deep with you. Thank you for sharing how you’ve enjoyed both the story and the setting!! I’m so glad those changes in the characters meant something to you. I really wanted there to be growth present and for it to feel real (which I confess, has been intimidating at times…having a character like Gideon who wanders so. It’s tempting at time to throw in those “easy fixes” but it just wouldn’t be real, you know?)
I am so happy that you are being inspired to pick up your own pen. Sending a prayer for your story to flow, Dana!
Dana,
It just dawned on me I didn’t answer your question! The hardest part about writing a novel… for me (at least lately) has been the revision process. It’s actually the best part of the writing process for me because it’s in working with my editors that the story really begins to shine but at the same time it’s been the most daunting. It’s stretches me as a writer as I did deeper for the story that needs to shine through, letting go of scenes or chapters that don’t fit anymore…. but coming out on the other side is one of the best parts of the process. You suddenly realize that there’s the story. It’s just as it should be and it’s oh so much better 🙂
I have the first book and loved it! Would love to win the second in the series! Thanks for the chance in the giveaway.
Glenda,
Hearing that you and others are still looking forward to reading Though My Heart is Torn makes me so happy to be giving away a copy!! I’m so happy you enjoyed the first book! 🙂
I have never read one of your books but I am eagar to start. Miss Mona Hodgson recommend you to me.
I wished I could find your books at Wal-Mart. I live in a small town and I have to drive an hour away to a bookstore. I sure wished you could work something out with W-M.
I think it is so cool, that you are open to discussing you books on line.
I’m looking forward to reading your books soon.
Thanks, Gwen Miller
Gwen,
I do know that Walmart has it in their system, though it’s probably not on shelves. Here is the link:
http://www.walmart.com/ip/Be-Still-My-Soul/20527621
If you want, you could request it “site to store” and it has free shipping, which may be a nice option. I’m so glad that you’re here and for the chance to get to chat with you! Thanks for your comment and I just love that Mona… she is a dear!
Hi Joanne, I will be perfectly honest with you and tell you I haven’t read either of these books yet. I have been wanting to purchase them but haven’t been able to do so yet. I did hear an interview with you on WBCL awhile ago. So, I do know that your books are highly sought after.
I would love to win a copy of your book, Though my Heart is Torn. I enjoyed the video. You are like me with your hands and that made me smile!
Blessings!
Judy B
Judy,
Thanks so much for being here. How sweet of you to have listened in to the WBCL interview. I always get so nervous about those but I don’t think I made to big of mistakes, so it was quite fun 🙂 I mentioned this in a comment above, but if you haven’t already and you would like to, perhaps your librarian could order it for your local library. Sometimes just asking, they’re happy to do it!
Just giggling that we have the same hand gestures. Sometimes I even talk with my hands when I type! It makes for awkward typing 😀
OH my goodness aren’t you just the sweetest thing around! Your genuine lovable personality sparkled on the video. Made me smile! I agree with someone here who said it is fun to see the real author behind the books. I have been interested in your books since I found them reviewed on someone’s blog…hmmm, now I forget who it was! They, too, said you write so perfectly that is tugs on our hearts and speaks to us.
I went to a place in the Appalachian Mts to volunteer for a week helping the locals in the “hollers”. Very humbling and awesome to talk to them about believing in God. I always feel a tug for that place!
I pray God continues to bless you and I will continue to support you Christian authors!
Hi Susan!
How sweet that was… it just made me smile 🙂 I did this video in the second take which has never happened before. I just started talking and then couldn’t stop…thinking of just chatting with friends made it so much easier and non stressful! 🙂
I agree, what a humbling place. I’m so glad that this series can bring you there in that little way as you visit with Lonnie and Gideon and the Bennetts. Thank you so much for reading AND reviewing. That is so thoughtful!
I loved both of your books and can’t wait for the 3rd one. I have it on order at Barnes and Noble. I loved seeing you and hearing you on the vlog. I am hoping some day to meet my cousin’s wonderfully talented daughter in love.
Judy
Good afternoon, Judy!
Wow… thank you so much for having book 3 on order at B & N. Those pre-sales really do help the book along as stores watch them to see if it’s a book worth carrying, so thank you! I hope that sometime we can meet too!
Hi Joanne. I love the covers and titles of your books. I haven’t been able to read them yet, but have been trying to read them so I can. Still trying. I know they sound good. Hopefull one day I will win, or get lucky and find them on sale that I can afford to buy them. I don’t understand how these characters and scenes just pop in the heads of you writers, and some say the characters talking even wake them at night. It sounds strange, but am sure glad that you can write such good books. GOD bless you and your writing. I would love to win. MAXIE mac262(at)me(dot)com
Maxie,
I am so thankful for those covers and the talents of the designer at WaterBrook Multnomah. He has done such an amazing job capturing the story. I’m glad you are entered for the giveaway!
It is really surprising when the characters and scenes show up. I never expect or know that it’s coming, but when a little piece of story makes itself known, it has me rushing for something to write it down on! Then, I end up pondering it for a while and more pieces fall into place.
You are such a sweet lady. I like you more and more everything you post something. I always appreciate authors who really take the time to connect with their fans. You can really tell you care about us, and I appreciate it so much! I have only read first book and I enjoyed it very much. I love the Appalachian setting. I am a huge folk and Celtic music fan, so anything that makes me think of that is lovely in my mind. I also love the country life and I hope to one day live out in the country with a little bit of land, and be able to do some real homesteading! I am planning on buying book two and preordering book three. I have a Barnes and Nobel gift card that I am going to use to buy book two (unless of course I win it, hehe). I am just trying to decide if I want to add something else to the order, to get free shipping, or use the gift card and pay for shipping, which would cost be a whole 52 cents after my gift card is deducted! Decision, decisions! I see on your pinterest you have a board for a Maple Gap series. Is that something you have plans to write, or something you have already written? Whatever it is, I am already excited about it. I have through it several times and it never fails to make me smile.
Hello Emma,
So nice to see you here. Thanks for your sweet words…it is such a joy to get to connect with you all. Sometimes I feel so holed up in my little corner of the world that it’s such a treat to get to chat with you readers who actually read these books! I think of you all each time I sit down to write 🙂
Maple Gap series on Pinterest…. oooh, GOOD question! Yes, that is a future story idea. I sent the link to that board to my publisher when sharing the idea with them, just so they could get a visual on the idea for the series. I put that board together as I was carving out the plot and characters and part of the story is written and the rest is outlined. I’m hoping one day to get the chance to bring that story to readers. I may or may not be chomping at the bit over that one 😉
Thanks for your comment and I hope you have a lovely day!
Hi Joanne,
I have not read your stories yet, but have heard so many good things about both of them, that I know I will be reading them both soon and then will anxiously await the third! This video chat idea is a really neat one. I also, as one of the other commenters said, appreciate the way you interact with your readers. I am really looking forward to reading your books.
Brittany
Hi Brittany,
Just smiling that you’ve heard good things… that makes my day! 🙂 I’m so glad you hope to read them and if you do, I pray they might encourage you. I’m glad you enjoyed the video chat! It was fun to do and just so fun to get to visit with readers like you. Thanks for being here and for taking the time to say hi!
I have not read any from this series, but they are on my list to get. I am hoping to get all three at once from Christian book once the last one is released. I have five daughters and we all love to read. Myself and three love historical romance and two read almost only suspense 🙂 I will confess that I have gone and read the reviews and descriptions longingly many times. Can’t wait to get caught up a bit and start getting things from my wanting to read list 🙂 I enjoy following you on facebook. Your very encouraging. I don’t know about others but I am loving getting to “meet” and “know” some of the authors that I read.
Michelle,
Thinking of you and your five daughters, just sounds like such a sweet group! Waiting for all three books to come out will be a great way to be able to read them all back to back 🙂 I know Christian Book Distributors sometimes does a bundle price which can be great. Thanks so much for following my Facebook page. It’s made so special by getting to interact with you all. I’m so glad that you enjoy meeting authors. I love getting to meet you all right back!
I have been following you on Facebook after learning about you on the Christian book club I am following on there. I have not read your books yest but am definitely planning on it! I wasn’t going to comment to win the 2nd book since I have not read the 1st yet, but I would love a chance to win the 1st! Thank you!
Katie,
I’m so happy that the first book being a part of the giveaway now gave you a good reason to comment! Yay for last minute randomness 🙂
You are most definitely entered in the drawing. If you get the chance to read the books, I hope and pray that they might bless you! Thanks for stopping in and saying hi!
Thank you! I know I will read them even if I don’t win, but thought I may as well enter now! Once I read them, I will keep in contact! Thanks!
Katie, I am so so glad!
I have only read the first book in the Cadence of Grace series. And I do have a question! Are you currently writing another book/series?
Good evening, Marissa!
Great question. I am working on a new book/series… It’s all in the early stages now, but I can tell you that whatever I write next will be another historical Appalachian romance 🙂
Hi Joanne, it’s so great to be able to put a voice to your face. The more I read and hear from/about you, the sweeter you seem. I’m so thrilled to have the chance to get to know you through social media. One day in the unknown future, we’ll meet face to face. I just know it!
As for your question, I have read both of the already-released Cadence of Grace books. Loved them! My favorite character is Lonnie, but I also really enjoyed the older couple she lives with.
I hope you’re enjoying your free time while you’ve got it! Thanks for hosting a giveaway.
Blessings,
Andrea
andrearenee2004@yahoo.com
Why thank you, Andrea! All my communication is nearly always in words, and rarely do I get to see anyone face to face, so this was my shot at sort of saying hi a little more personally 🙂 I’m glad for the chance to get to know you better too!
I am enjoying my free time, thank you! It’s refreshing me in a way that has me even more eager to get working on some more future stories.
Have a great night!
“It’s refreshing me in a way that has me even more eager to get working on some more future stories.”
Girl, that’s what I LOVE to hear!!! Getting all the encouragement from published authors recently for my WIP that I’m revising has given me that burst of energy, too. My day job of tutoring started back up this week (summer sessions are always fun), so I’m still trying to sort out my new writing time in my summer schedule. Hopefully by the end of the week I’ll have it down.
Blessings!
Joanne,
I have bought and read both your books and am anxiously awaiting the third one in the series. I live in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia, so I was happy to see your reply to Melody above that you have more ideas for books based on the Appalachian Mountains.
God bless you
Doris Reedy
Doris,
Thank you so very much for reading and being a part of the series. It means a lot! Oh, how I wish I could see the view from your neck of the woods. I bet you have some stunning scenery and it just thrills me to know that you are RIGHT there in the mountains of VA! And yes, I’m so excited to have more stories in the works and so happy to know that you’d be looking forward to them. 🙂
I hope you have a great night
Joanne
Joanne,
Yes, the mountains here are very beautiful. I love it here.
It is unbelievable how the people here are stereotyped because we live here in the Appalachian Mountains. So many don’t understand that we are no different than people anywhere else.
I had a person from Michigan a few years ago tell me that they couldn’t believe I lived here because when they thought of people in the Appalachians, they pictured a fat, toothless, barefooted person with pigs running in their yard. It’s people like this that show the stupidity of some people.
I love your books. Keep up the good work!
Doris
First off…your video is too cute! Thank you for sharing you awesome gift, of writing, with us….your books are inspirational and treasured by me! I have read both of the Cadence of Grace series. Even though I so long for Lonnie and Gideon to get back together, my heart is aching for Cassie too.
Somehow I am hoping that through your writing…the Lord will work it out so all parties can find the Lord and love in their life. Cassie is so in need of real love, her family has not really shown that.
this feeling took me by surprise…because I didn’t like Cassie when book 2 first started!!…*LOL* I’m so excited for #3…its already pre-ordered. Again, thank you so much for just being YOU and for allowing the Lord to use you in such a mighty way! Books like yours…allow us to go to another place…but also to see how people work things out with Gods help and how we are supposed to be letting HIM lead..etc..etc..*S*S* THANK YOU AND BLESSINGS TO YOU AND YOURS!
Kellie,
Why thank you 🙂 I just feel so blessed to get to write books and have God’s hand in it all. It still just boggles my mind sometimes that I actually get to write stories and even MORE SO to have you enjoy reading them. Thank you for that!
Wow, I’m just amazed to hear how your heart has gone out to Cassie…that is such an encouragement as a writer and I’m happy to tell you that there’s a bit more to come from Cassie yet. God’s reaching for that girl, that’s for sure. 🙂
Blessings to you and yours as well!! I’m glad that you got through the game even with the tears the other night and thanks so much for pre-ordering My Hope is Found!
I have Be Still, My Soul but haven’t read it yet. From the reviews I’ve read about it and the next book Though My Heart is Torn, it sounds like a series I want to read all at once. In some series, the books stand alone enough that it doesn’t matter waiting several months to a year before reading the next book. Other series, like this one, I want to read them one after the other with nothing else in between so I can savor the whole story. I’d rather wait till I get all the books than wait in between reading them. I do not have Though My Heart is Torn so I’d love to win the copy you are giving away. How long will it be before the third book is published?
I enjoy your video chats with us. I love authors who do this; it makes you seem more approachable and “human” (not some celebrity on a pedestal). You seem like a really sweet woman, one who would be easy to chat with over a cup of tea. Thanks for giving away one of your books.
Pam,
The review of Though My Heart is Torn really do have the same message– something about wanting book 3?? haha, yes it’s true! They do go together well and reading them all together sounds like a fun marathon and less stressful 🙂 The third book comes out this October.
I’m so glad that the story is worth it to you to save it that way. If you think about it when the time comes, do let me know when you are ready begin them all together and I’d love to send you a little care package in the mail to go with it!
Raising my cup of tea to yours and wishing you a lovely evening!
Just watched your video! So precious of you to take time from your busy schedule to see where we are with reading your books. I have not read either of these in this series, but I have read others that you have written. I am so looking forward to reading these! I recently joined your Facebook page and enjoy keeping up with what is going on with you.
Hi June!
You are so sweet.. thank you 🙂 It means a lot that you are here and that you enjoyed the video even without having read the series. I’m so glad that you are looking forward to them! Thanks for your sweet comment and for visiting me over on Facebook as well. You all make the page so special.
I loved both books one and two. Just can’t wait for Number 3. To long in
between books.
Yay, Lynda! So happy to hear it. Book 3 coming your way very soon 😀
I wished I was able to hear your video but could not because I am hearing impaired. The computer volume is not high enough for me. I read your first book in The Cadence of Grace Series and really enjoyed it. I have the second book on my wish list and would love to win this one if it is in the giveaway. From reading the comments and your blog, I see there is a third book coming out, is that correct?
Oh, Karen, how I wish I had a way of making that louder for you. So very sorry that you couldn’t hear it well. I was just saying hello to you all and asking if you had any kind of questions about the series. I’m just so thankful to you all for visiting with me like this. Yes, you are most definitely entered for the copy of the second book. I’ll be drawing a winner on Friday. And there is a third book coming out 🙂 It’s called “My Hope is Found” and will be out in October.
i haven’t been able to get these books yet, so i have been wetting my appetite with the previews and posts, and i’m definitely intrigued :). i’m a big Janette Oak fan, so these characters and the mountains sound perfect 🙂
Hi Debi!
I’ve heard that the stories are similar to those of Janette Oke’s… I’ve been so touched by those who’ve thought that. It would be so wonderful if your library had them on hand. If not, sometimes your librarian may be able to request it for you. Though I’m glad you are entered in the giveaway as well. Thanks for visiting and for taking the time to comment! I hope you’ve had a great night.
Joanne,
You have been on my fb feed for awhile now, although I have not ready any of your books. I must have thought one of them sounded interested in order to follow you on fb
Loretta,
I’m so happy to hear that we connected on Facebook. Thanks for finding me there. It’s so great to get to chat with you here as well 🙂
Keep up the good work! Love you books!
Thanks, Anetta! I will do my best!! Thanks for the encouragement 😀
I haven’t read either of your books yet, but plan to do so soon! I have the second book but was waiting to read the first one! I love reading the reviews and comments of others who have read the books. After reading the letter from Lonnie at the beginning, I was determined to read these books!!
Donna,
I’m really glad that you’re hanging onto the second book to read Be Still My Soul first. The 2nd book is designed to work well as a stand alone, but deep down, I think that reading them in order really gives the best experience to getting to know the characters and the stories 🙂 That means so much, too, that you remember Lonnie’s letter! Hoping a copy of book 1 will find it’s way to you soon!!
I haven’t read any of your books yet. I would love to!!
I am a book junkie!!
Cheryl,
Always fun to meet another book junkie! 😀 So happy you stopped in here and that you’re looking forward to reading the books!
Have not read any of the books but would really love to win.
I’m so glad to hear it, Bonnie. You are most definitely entered!
I’ve read both books and can’t wait to see what happens in #3. Enjoyed the video.
Yay, Ola! Thrilled to hear that you’re following the story. Thanks so much!
I haven’t read any of your books, but I am definitely interested in doing so. 🙂
Good evening, Melissa! So happy that the books have caught your interest. If you get the chance to read Lonnie and Gideon’s story, I so hope you enjoy it!
Hello Joanne. I am at book one. When will 3 be eleased and will there be a 4th one.
Blessings
joeym11@frontier.com
Diana,
Book 3 will be release in October. I’m contracted for just the 3 books, but will let you know if anything new arises in the future! I sure hope so 🙂
Just reread the first book in the series, so I need to walk up and get the second. Loved the story and all the dilemmas the characters face. Also, the unconditional love shown to Gideon as he finally comes home after spending time in the apple pruning business is heartwarming.
Sallie, You can walk up any time and get the second book, we are always around! I’m so glad that you’re ready for the next installment and that you see that unconditional love in Gideon’s walk there at the end.
