“Can I please have this cover!?” That’s exactly what I said to my editor at Thomas Nelson when she showed me what they had come up with during the design for THE GOLD in THESE HILLS. She and the rest of the publishing team agreed that it was just the right one, and so it is with JOY that I share with you the cover for my 2021 novel!
It’s a dual timeline between a historical thread and contemporary thread all consisting within what was once a gold mining town in California — turned ghost town — turned legend. The book is now up for pre-order on Amazon, or you can read the full summary there! There is so much more to share about this story and the way God has been working within the pages . . . and in the meantime, He is still teaching me heart-lessons as I finish this book during the editing stages. It hasn’t been an easy road, but He has been faithful, which in itself, is the very heart of this book.
