Just arrived on my doorstep…
The advanced reading copies of My Hope is Found!!
Some of you may be wondering, what is an “advanced reading copy”. Also known as an ARC, they’re a printed book thats quite similar to what the final book will look like. There are typos and some other odds and ends that will be changed, but I gotta tell you, it was so exciting to see that the story was at this stage!
Within the next few days, I’ll be sending these out to bloggers and reviewers who are part of a launch team for the book. I know, that’s pretty much NO fun for some of you… but I promise you it will be worth the wait. The version you’ll see in October will be polished and shined with finishing touches like these few things to come:
- An introduction written from Gideon
I’m super excited about it! I’d wanted to have some kind of “catch up” in the beginning of this third book for anyone who perhaps missed the first two… I hated to think of them being a bit lost between, well…Cassie…Gideon… Lonnie… Toby… there’s a lot going on! So I thought a brief introduction, sort of explaining what had passed, would be helpful. I’d tried writing it first as a letter to readers, but it kept coming out all wrong. So I turned Gideon loose on the first page and figured he could tell readers what happened up until this point in a manner that was more interesting than I could have done. 😉
- Endorsements
With each book, comes the endorsement consideration process and as a writer, we always hold our breath wondering what the response might be as authors read the early version of the manuscript. I’m hoping to share them soon with you but for now, I want to say a VERY special thank you to authors Lauraine Snelling, Carrie Turansky, Mesu Andrews, Meg Mosely, Beth k. Vogt, Serena Miller, Jocelyn Green and Liz Curtis Higgs.
These ladies so sweetly took time out of their busy schedules to read My Hope is Found, and wrote the most beautiful endorsements. SO much so that I teared up when my publisher sent them to me.m

In addition… today I have the FIRST chapter of My Hope is Found for you all! You can now read it this very moment on line, but I will tell you, that if you have been waiting to read Though My Heart is Torn until book #3 releases, then you’ll probably want to skip this sneak peek because it reveals a few things yet to be discovered in book #2. But, if you already know what happened there *cough cough*… you can read the first chapter here!
In the meantime, if you would like to pre-order My Hope is Found, you can do that here on the book page and if you’ve been waiting to snag the other books until the whole series is released, there’s a link to buy the whole shebang for a nice deal!
OHHHHHHHH!! Look at your GRIN!!!
I’m so proud of you!!
ANd mildly freaking out for me…
THHHAAANKKSS Jennifer!!! LOL… the grin, and I realized a bit too late, OH, the hair :/ haha.
Thank you so much!!
Yay, yay, yay! Did I mention…yay! Cannot wait to read this, girl. Cannot. Wait.
Thanks a million, Lindsay 😀 I am SO glad that you’re looking forward to this one. Just can’t wait to get it to you.
Yay! Can’t wait to get ahold of a copy! I wish the ARC copies had the intro from Gideon, it sounds like a great touch to the final book. I cannot read the first chapter, because it will make me frustrated that I cannot continue to read. So, I will await my own copy. I am patient….somewhat. 🙂
Congrats, Joanne, all your hard work and faithfulness have paid off. Hugs!
I’m so happy that you’re looking forward to that intro, Debbie. It took me a while to iron out some of the words so it didn’t make the ARC cut, but I’ll be sure and get it to you 😉 Fortunately, you won’t have to be patient for too much longer. Headed to the post office today!
Yay! Thanks in advance, Joanne!
YAY!!!! Beautiful cover and this is so exciting to know publication date is 8 weeks out! Hugs and rejoicing with you!!
Oh, wow. 8 weeks feels like a short time as these things tend to fly by. Hugs right back!!
Can’t wait to read it! Heard good buzz already.
That is so sweet, Julia. Thank you so much!
Yay! I’m so happy for you, Joanne. (And I love how completely beaming your grin is in that photo!)
Having Gideon catch everyone up to speed is a brilliant idea. Can’t wait to read it!
Blessings,
Andrea
Thanks, Andrea! And I’m so glad that intro has sparked your interest! It won’t be in the ARC, but I’m scheming a way to get it to you all 😉
Ahh!! It’s so pretty hehe 😀
You make me smile. I’m pretty fond of it too. 😉
I can’t put My Hope is Found down!! Looking forward to writing my review and I’d love to have you on my blog! I’ll message you. 🙂
That means so much, Gabrielle! Especially coming from another writer! And that would be an honor!
