Recently, I put it out an invitation for readers to send in their pictures with their copies of Be Still My Soul or, an Appalachian inspired prop. The pictures that came in are fantastic!! There are several up on my Facebook page and I wanted to share a few here. I still haven’t posted them all so there will be many more to come in the collage! A HUGE thank you to everyone who took the time to be a part of this project. π I am so thankful for you!
A creative picture from LIBBI! She had loaned her copy of “Be Still My Soul” to her grandpa…so she got creative and pulled up the sheet music to the song!
Here is PAMELA! I love her great big smile. Hmmm….I wonder if she’s reading about Lonnie or Gideon. Must be Lonnie…either that or Gideon just got hit in the head with a frying pan π
Here is one from AMY! She got so creative with her interpretation, using the verse from “Be Still My Soul”
Weeping may endure for a night,
but joy cometh in the morning. Psalm 30:5
A sweet and cheery picture from CATHY! This book was about to be transferred from mother to daughter so they snapped a picture right before. I love how many people have passed the book along for a friend or loved one to read!
McKENZIE,Β KRISTIE and WENDY! Aren’t they fantastic!? These three ladies took a picture with the book in 1870. Β They look so beautiful! And very studious with their novels in tow π A smart trio of ladies!
What a great idea! And great pics too. Nicely done.
Thanks Dona! Everyone involved made it so fun! π
How cute these photos are. what a fun contest. Love it! Everyone has been so creative!
Aren’t they fun, Nettie!? I love how they all did their own take. They are so creative! π
Some great pics! I loved participating. π
Pamela,
I’m so glad you participated. I was thrilled when your sweet picture came in. Three cheers for your photo-snapping husband π
This project was, indeed, so fun. That last one makes me smile….love that they dressed up.
Your picture, Amy, was so creative. I loved how you used the verse and your fantastic photography skills. So glad you were a part of it!
I was about to say the same thing! Loved the lengths they went to to dress up. Such fun!
Isn’t it fun! A little bird told me that they dressed up and took a picture in an old building from 1870. They forgot their books in 2013, so Lonnie got photo shopped in *wink wink*
These are great! How fun!
Thanks Jess π A great group of ladies!
Thanks for letting your fans be a part of this, Joanne!
