What a delightful surprise to wake up yesterday morning to an email from the Christy Award coordinator that To Get to You was a finalist in the YA category! The press release went live shortly after and it’s a thrill to see so many author friends on the finalist list. Congrats to everyone!! And thank you to so many friends and family for all the warm wishes and excitement. You all make this experience extra special!

 

This is my third time finaling in the Christy Awards and my second time finaling as an indie author. It’s a thrill no matter which way that coin gets flipped and I’m so grateful to the Christy Awards Board for opening up this long-standing award ceremony that recognizes excellence in Christian fiction to independent publishing.
