I thought you might π
Joanne,I have absolutely loved reading your books! I really want to read the Lady and the LionHeart! Ps… looking forward to reading the new book set in the Appalachia region as I live in NC!Thank you and please keep writing!
Patti, greetings to you in beautiful NC! What a gorgeous state you live in. I feel honored to have visited it. Thank you for your warm wishes and sweet book encouragement!
Love!!! I love everything about this, your upcoming projects, your beautiful heart for story and readers, and you! Well done, dear friend!
Aw, thank you, sweet friend!!
I love that your mom and aunt left questions for you! I feel the same way about nonfiction π
Squeee!!! So excited about your book news!!!
I remember Appalachia’s pronunciation by saying Apple-At-Cha in my head first (I have a dear friend who is a mountain mama, lol)
I adore The Lady and the LionHeart! ADORE!!! I would love to put Charlie on my shelf and reread and hug that book at will. (maybe loan it out to people I trust to cherish it and return it in a speedy manner)
The Message in a Bottle is the most moving novella collection I have ever read. Heartstrings, yes!
hehe, I would LOVE for Charlie to be on your shelf and equally love your loaning plans. π It means so much that you adored that one!
And yes, that’s how I often hear it said as well. Sometimes I walk around my house practicing it to try and really make it sink in and then I find myself saying it wrong even then π
THANK YOU – so touched that the Message in a Bottle collection meant that to you! I know my fellow authors are overjoyed as well!
I really wanted to plop down and have a chat with you while watching this π great job on the video!
Oh please do! It would be so lovely to visit π
Loved this and hope to win! I’m looking forward to all of your new ones coming out. <3
Sound wonderful, Carol, and thank you!
Oh, I’d just love a copy of The Lady & The Lionheart! I enjoyed your video answers to the questions!
Hi Trisha! Thanks for visiting!! I’ll put your name in the hat along with a L&L note for the drawing! (likely, it will be the top hat) π
Yay, I’m not the only one who does video Q & A! I’ve been looking forward to reading The Lady and The Lionheart for a long time now π
Hi Abigayle! So nice to meet you. π Yay! I’m so glad you’ve been looking forward to that one!
This was so fun! I enjoyed hearing about your writing process and your works in progress. I loved The Message in the Bottle. The stories were all so moving and wonderful! I’d love a copy of The Lady and the Lionheart.
Thank you for visiting with me, Winnie! And oh… just thrilled that you enjoyed the romance collection. It’s been a joy having you be one of our readers for that. And as for L&L…I’ll tuck your name in the hat for that one! π
Joanne, Any new writings as I have all of the ones published so far… did I hear you say you are writing a follow-up Charlie novel you have set aside for the two Thomas Nelson brother stories? If so, I would like that one when it is finished in print! Kathleen ~ Lane Hill House
Kathleen,
If that isn’t the best motivation to finish. You heard right…a follow up novella with Charlie is in the works. It’s actually a pre-quel, Charlie is about 20 and Axel is just a 6 month old cub. It’s such a sweet story and I can’t wait to get it to you. I’ll mark you down for that one <3 And in the meantime, come up with a plan on how to finish that one sooner rather than later. π
Appreciate you so much. Thank you. Kathleen
Oooh! I would love to read Lady and the Lionheart! I have heard soooo many good comments about it. I’m itching to discover the “magic” of this book.
Listening to your Q and A was so insightful. Thank you for sharing.
Terressa, that’s so encouraging to hear!! I hope that if you get the chance to read it, it will hold that magic for you too. <3 thanks for stopping by!
Would love to win Lady and the Lion heart and the Message in a,Bottle collection. They sound amazing!!
So fun to know those two struck your fancy, Michelle!! I’m so happy you popped in for the giveaway. π
Okay so The Lady and the Lionheart. Why, even though I have a copy? Because I have loaned it out to my friend, I ahve purchased three Kindle copies to give to friends and I would like autographed copy of my own (so I don’t have to wait until ACFW) so I can put in on the shelf of fame (notice one shelf) where all my (very few) favorite novels of all time are. Oh did I mention that I am also reading it out loud to hubby who is also thoroughly enjoying it! Can’t say enough about this book. I have also started reading it outloud to another friend who is recovering from surgery. She hates to read but wanted to hear the story so I am reading it to her. BTW she says she is loving it. K gush over.
Oh wow, Ginger! Can i put this comment on my keeper shelf?!!? So touched that the book was this meaningful to you. I can’t hardly describe just how much it means to me. And to think of you having gone on to share it (and even read it!) to others, just touches my heart. Please say hello to your friend in recovery and give her a big hug from me (and Charlie and Ella!)
You most certainly can use any part of it you like. Even if it’s just a tucked slip of paper to remind you when you are down, that you will never know on this side of heaven just how much your words are impacting people. Stay close, stay faithful and your impact will broaden and increase. Your stories are touching lives.
I love your books, I read them on e- book and would love to have on paper The Lady and the Lionheart and The Message in a Bottle Collection.
Know that you have a fan in San Pedro Sula, Honduras
Eraida, Such a delight to hear from you!! I’m waving all the way to Honduras. Thank you dearly for reading the books. That means so much to me!
Thanks for taking the time to answer questions personally! I loved lady and the lion hea and it was the first book I read from you. I bought This Quite Sky as a gift for a younger girl and would love to have it for myself. I almost kept it! Looking forward to reading more of your work over the years!
It was my joy, Brandie! It’s so neat to hear that Lionheart was the first one you read and to know you’ve gone on to grab TQS for a young girl is so special to me. I pray it will be a blessing to her.
Loved the Lady and the Lionheart! Such a beautiful story! I’ve shared it already for sure! I honestly would love any other book by you! Got your books in my wish list!Thank you for writing good clean and wonderful books!
THANK YOU, Amanda. I can’t tell you all what a joy that is to hear. So glad you stopped by for the giveaway and shared your sweet thoughts!
Loving this! I’ve watched part of it. I plan on watching the rest later when I have more time without interruption! I love that you went to Appalachia with your mom!
Thanks for watching, Nancy! And thank you. That was such a wonderful trip. Memories I will cherish always.
Laughing about the hunky middle aged men in the YA books!!! HA! Keep up the Appalachian writing, my friend! So glad you got to visit this part of the world!
LOL. Sometimes I say the most random things. π Thanks for watching, friend!! LOVED seeing your part of the world. <3
Thank you for all oc your work to provide new reading for us. I would like to win Lady and the Lionheart.
It’s my pleasure, Phyllis. Thanks for stopping by!
My question made the video! Yay! Thanks for the answer, Joanne. And sure hope the writing is going well for you.
It did indeed! And such a fun one π Thank you, Sally. It’s going well. I hope it’s going well for you too! I still owe you an edit so call on me when the time comes!
So fun! I would LOVE The Lady and The Lionheart. I’ve been wanting it in print, but I haven’t been able to get it yet. I’d love to have it on my shelf!! That book touched my heart more deeply than any other story has, and I will always be grateful to you for that. π Thanks for the chance!
Hi Britney! Such a joy to have you visit. And yay… I’m so delighted to think of you wanting Lionheart in print. I’ll pop your name in the hat with that one π It means the WORLD to me that it’s touched you that deeply. Truly honored.
Love hearing from my favorite authors! I would love lady and the lionheart!
Greetings, Julia! And you got it π I’ll put you down for that one.
This was so fun to see. I love all your books but am especially excited to hear someday there will be a novella about Charlie Lionheart. I loved The Lady and the Lionheart so much I’d like to win a copy to give to my local library. I want others to fall in love with Charlie too.
Thanks so much, Pam. π I’d be honored for it to be in your library!
It was fun to finally get to leak a little more about that novella. I had planned on it being out this past winter but wasn’t able to make that goal. I’m more inspired than ever to get it out now. It’s a really fun one and Charlie’s youthful antics were so much fun to write. π
I would love very much to win The Lady and the Lionheart. I was so excited to see your video. You seem like such a sweet person! Thank you for sharing with us! And thank you for your lovely reply to my comment yesterday.
It was my pleasure Anne… I was so touched by your visit AND your comment, as I am with this one. Thanks for visiting me here. It’s truly special!
Love this! I am dying to read the Message in a Bottle Collection. I know it will be wonderful!
Hi Michelle! I am so excited for you to read it! The ladies did SUCH a beautiful job weaving their tales, and tying them all together. Hugs to you.
So fun hearing about what you are working on! I just love the Lady and the Lionheart!!! It is literally my favorite book to date! Hearing that Charlie will have his own novella prequel is such sweet news!!! I would love to have a copy of the message in a bottle collection! I’ve been seeing it pop up on reviews and have been anxious to read it!
Aw, I love that the news is sweet! I figured that when it comes to Charlie Lionheart, more is better, right? :] And oh…yay! I love hearing that Message in a Bottle has caught your eye. That one is so dear and the stories that the other authors created are just magical. I’ll enter you for that one, for sure.
My question is… Have you ever been afraid of writing a book, wondering if it wouldn’t turn out as amazing and wonderful as you wanted and envisioned? If so, how did you overcome? I’m a bit of a perfectionist, and lately it’s been strangling my creativity. I love what you said about researching afterwards btw. So freeing! I do this, and have always felt I was cheating. How fun that I’m not the only one. But fiction readers reach for novels over history books for a reason right?
I’d love to win a paperback copy of “Charlie’s book”, as I think of it, or Message in a Bottle.
Can’t wait for the “Charlie novella!” π
And I love your quilt! Someday I’m going to find a white wedding ring quilt to put in my hope chest. So beautiful!
Lifting you and your writing in my prayers often.
What a great question, Natalie. The answer to that is YES! It’s always a worry, I’d imagine for every writer, or even every artist. For me the thought is often there but it’s intensified with this book I’m working on now. When L&L was coming out, I had a strong sense that it would be my ‘best’, not just because of the story, but because of the unique way that it came about (From idea to finished novel was just 4 weeks. I edited it in a few days and it was on my agent’s kindle by week 5! Unheard of, and it only happened that way because God just poured the story out). But as the author, I also knew that afterwards, I would always be looking back, knowing I had peaked with that book. I really have had to work hard (and you likely heard me mention this in the video) to not get hung up there. I have to constantly remind myself not to think that way and to not have fear over people saying this next book will be “good, but not as good as The Lady and the Lionheart.” It’s easy to be bound up in fear and I’ve had to practice, almost daily, breaking through those worries. It helps for us to remember that EVERY book written to honor and glorify the Lord, will be used as He wills it. <3
And yes! It is freeing. There are authors who write incredible and history-rich stories (Lori Benton, Sarah Sundin, Jocelyn Green, and more) and I am in AWE of them and thankful for their abilities. They do what I lack the skills to do. I write character studies that take place in the olden days. So the characters and their plight is always at the forefront and the history is sort of the background, where that story takes place, not usually an integral part of the plot.
I'm so energized to get Charlie's novella out there, having read these comments. π Thank you dearly for those prayers!
I would love to read The Lady and the Lionheart and the Message in a Bottle collection! They have both been on my to read list for a while now!
A joy to hear, Jordan! And so glad you stopped by. :]
Oh my word this is Marvelous !! I absolutely adore The Lady and the Lionheart. I was in such anguish while reading that book. And then This Quiet Sky literally made me cry and I absolutely consider myself a robot who never cries. And frankly I love all of your books too. I just can’t get enough!!
Greetings, Hannah! Thanks for the smile! Sending you a big, big hug for those tears and anguish…and so touched that you loved them! Thank you dearly.
Such a sweet video! The music was a nice touch, too. I have heard your name here and there, and after this video, I have to read your books! You seem so genuine, personable, and fun. And what a great mom you have! Can’t wait to check out your books.
Thanks, Jenny! So glad you found it and enjoyed it. π And thank you! She is such a fantastic mom. So blessed.
Oops, forgot to say I’d like to read the Lady and the Lionheart if you draw my name. But really, they both sound good. π
You got it!
Enjoy your video,
Would like to get The Lady & The Lionheart π
Thanks so much. Got you entered. π
I really enjoyed this video! Thank you for the time you took to make it! I am vety excited for your upcoming books AND the circus novella! I would very much like to win the Hertfelt Recipe book (it’s hard to read recipes from the knidle), if it’s available. If not, I would certainly like a copy of The Lady and the Lionheart, because I am givig my last copy as a birthday gift to a friend. π Thank you again for sharing with us readers your wonderful works!
Francesca,
So glad that you are excited for those ones. Readers like you keep me going with each page and each story because I know it’s all mind and heart. I will enter you for those but will be sure that you get the pages from Heartfelt Recipes. I don’t have the paperback on that one as it’s out of print, but I will send you the PDF. It makes my heart soar whenever I hear of you gifting these books to your friends in Romania! Sending all my love to you and yours.
Thank you! <3 Sending love and prayers!
Be still my soul and the quiet sky! I’ve already read the lady and the lionhart and loved!! that book! I’d love to read more from you so this would be an awesome chance! My other sisters always borrow my books so I’m sure they would love to read more. They loved the book as well!! Keep up the amazing writing it is such a joy to read Christian books that are so well written.
Such a thrill to know you’ve read those ones, Brooke! And I wish I could have the whole cast from L&L throw you all a party. Complete with banners and popcorn and a meadow-full of music. π
Such a fun video! So many great questions and answers! <3 And I am absolutely thrilled about your new series! Cannot wait for them to release so I can read them!!
I would request a print copy of The Lady and the Lionheart because I LOVE LOVE LOVE that book! (And I still don't have a print copy on my shelf…).
Hi Sydney! Ooh… it makes me so happy to know you’re looking forward to the new series. I so hope you enjoy it! And wow… I’d be HONORED to add a PB copy of Lionheart to your shelf. I’ve got your name in the hat!
Thank you so much for such a fun, video, Joanne!! I’m curious how you came to start writing your first book. Also, I’d love Sarah and Tucker’s story in print. So excited to read more!! <3
Thanks for watching, Tara! I would absolutely love to send a copy of TQS your way. So touched that Sarah and Tucker’s story is a dear one for you! And great question… I started writing when I was in 3rd grade and still have the story that sparked it all called “The Brave Coyote.” It was 3 pages long and my mom encouraged me to write it out in my best cursive, then she made copies of it and bound it up. Something about her excitement and belief in me even at that young age, inspired me to stick with it. So thankful to her! Then as I grew up, my stories got longer. I wrote my first novel in High School but that one is stashed in a drawer. We’ll call it good practice, LOL.
Just loved this video so much, Joanne! It’s so fun hearing from authors whose books you love! ^_^
I really, really would like to read To Get to You! Is it in paperback? If so, that’s the one I’d like if I happened to win. π
Thanks and blessings! <3
Thanks for visiting, Shantelle. I appreciate it so much!! And yay – delighted that TGTY is your top choice. It IS in paperback! Hugs.
Hey Joanne! Loved the video chat. So excited there is going to be more Charlie. I have the Lady and the Lionheart on my kindle and in paperback. This book…well there are just no words to say how much I loved it. When I was seeing all the buzz about it, I was thinking “a circus book? Not for me.” Boy, was I ever wrong. I am so glad I took a chance and read it.
I also loved To get to you and cannot wait for the sequel.
I would love a copy of My Hope is Found. It is the only one of yours, except for The Message in a Bottle (which I am going to buy), that I do not have. Thanks for the chance!
Greetings, Kim –
*I’m* so excited that you’re eager for more Charlie. I hope you love the novella and am hoping to have it done here before long!
It is so special to hear that you have Lionheart in both paperack and eBook. Bless you! And I completely understand your reaction. That would have been mine too. π
Ooh, yes, I will jot you down for a copy of My Hope is Found. You got it!
I’d love Lady and the Lionheart. I’ve heard SO much about it…all good too!
Happy Birthday, π
DOUBLE thanks, Rachael! π
Hi Joanne, I am new to reading fiction…haven’t for a number of years… and felt drawn to your 2nd book in the Cadence of Grace, my library didn’t have the first. Anyways, I wondered why you wrote about divorce… and I had no idea that in that time divorce was even allowed, little alone remarriage. I am divorced, and I can’t relate to the way the characters Gideon and Lonnie, stay lovingly relating to Cassie, and Toby, and yet faithful to each other. I just got the 3rd book from my library, and so maybe it will resolve those questions. But I am wondering why you wrote about divorce, in this series. The idea of God being able to redeem everything, I am not sure is Biblical. Deut 24 says it is an abomination for a man to take back his first wife that he sent away, and then married/was joined to another. My husband is married, and that I believe means his first marriage to me, can never be redeemed, restored. It has been 20yrs since I was ‘sent away’… and the Lord has done His healing work in my heart, that only He could do. There is more to say about the title – ‘My hope is found’ and how it relates to me…but I have already written way more than others for this post.
A very good question, Marilyn. It will take me some time to answer, so bear with me as this might get rather long.
First off, yes, divorce has been around for quite some time. It goes much farther back than modern days. As for how the scenario went in Though My Heart is Torn, it was a complicated one. A man having two wives in the way that Gideon unwittingly did was an enormous problem. That story is not meant to be an authority on divorce or remarriage, I was simply telling a story of what the people in that situation either A) were made to do or B) chose to do. Gideon sinned gravely when he set Cassie aside. That was his first and biggest mistake. He was not a believer then, so was not convicted by God’s word. When he later married Lonnie, and shortly after, learned more about the Lord’s creeds, he could have found himself convicted by that, but his faith was still small. With him married to Lonnie, and the father of their child, it made sense to him to stay put. Then when the issue arose that Cassie was considered his wife by the state, that’s when things get difficult. It’s a scenario of this man, and these characters being stuck between a rock and a hard place. Sometimes there are no easy answers, and Gideon found himself at the mercy of authority and whether or not the Reverends and courthouse involved chose correctly, from a Biblical standpoint, wasn’t meant to be stated or claimed within the book. They are men who are infallible and so I don’t stand behind their decision nor do I condemn them for it. Only that they made the decision as they saw fit.
I suppose it would help to wrap the situation in the light of this: The Cadence of Grace series wasn’t a how-to on divorce, or a guide on what Biblical divorce and remarriage should look like. It was simply the story of a man having two wives, and him only being able to have one. I saw no easy or clear answer to that as I was writing it. When Cassie consented to ending their marriage with Gideon, they were both sinning and they both chose a path of selfishness in that moment. The story was meant to illustrate that consequences arise. Our deeds may go unnoticed for a time, but there will be a reckoning and I hoped to illustrate that Gideon did not have an easy way of it as God was working to get a hold of that man’s heart.
I’m so sorry that you weren’t able to relate to the characters, but do understand. Not every book of fiction will sit well with each of us. We will all see different things and also decide different things based upon the way the story is presented and how we interpret it. With that series, I was telling a story of how a group of people navigated a near-impossible situation and how one man finally came to understand how desperately he needed Christ.
I would like to win “The Lady and the Lionheart”
Joan
I’ll put you down for that one, Joan. π
I loved this!! I would like to read This Quiet Sky. Sounds so good and sweet but also heartbreaking…ALSO Happy early birthday!! π Hope it’s a good one!
One of the only books I made time for last summer was The Lady and the Lionheart. LOVED it! I loved the cover too π
Thanks for offering the giveaway!
Thanks for the birthday wishes, Marissa! It’s been a great one indeed. Such a sweet time with my family and kiddos, and warm wishes from friends!
WOW… honored that you suqeezed Lionheart in as your summer read. Thank you so, so much! And oh, that cover is my favorite. If you haven’t had a chance to see the behind the scenes post, I think you might enjoy it.
I love this! What a great way to answer a lot of questions from readers. I love This Quiet Sky. Honestly one of my all time favorite books!
I love your writing process, how you go backwards with research. That is the first I’ve heard of it, and I love it! I look forward to you many many many more books.
I would love to add To Get To You on my shelf, since that is the only one I’m missing as of now. Thank you for the giveaway.
Such a joy to see you here, Annie. And just honored as can be that TQS is one of your favorites. I’m blessed by that more than I can say!! I will definitely put you into the drawing for a copy of TGTY. Looking forward to you having Riley and crew one day on your bookshelf. π
I like to win “The Lady and the Lionheart”
Marion
I’ll be sure to enter you for that one, Marion. π
I love your storytelling talent! I would absolutely love to win a copy of The Lady and the Lionheart <3
Thank you for that, Susan!
Great job on the video! Really enjoyed getting to know you. The Lady and the Lionheart is my favorite of all the books of yours I’ve read. A moving, powerful book. I’ve not read To Get to You, and it sounds very interesting. Blessings to you! Linda
Appreciate it, Linda. It was such a treat to get to sit down and chat with you all. π And to know that Lionheart is one of your favorites of mine means so much! I hope that if you get the chance to read To Get to You one of these days, that the story will be a blessing to you!
Hi, I have never read one of your books. If I am lucky, I would love your favorite. I am always curious about genre. IS there one you would like to try but have not been able to.
I like the way you think, Debra! I’ll be sure to send you my favorite if you’re drawn! And great question… I think for the most part, historical romance and YA are my favorites but I wish that I could do more YA (like finish that Wild Horses one) and pour more of myself into that genre. Young adult readers are so dear and I think they need good clean fiction that’s also really entertaining. It’s been fun to make it a goal to add to that and I’m thankful for the YA authors who have made it their mission!
Hi,
thank you for the opportunity. “Lady and the Lionheart” caught my attention first.
You got it, Mary. π
Hi,
I have not had an opportunity to read any of your books yet, but “Lady and the Lionheart” has captured my attention. I grew up in Baraboo, WI – home to the Ringling Brothers Circus winter quarters for many years, and the home of the Circus World Museum. I had the opportunity in high school to play in the band at the circus a few times, and my father drove the circus trolley around our town…showing tourists all the Ringling Brothers’ beautiful homes and the historical Al Ringling Theater. You should come this way and get a taste of the circus under the big top…as kids, we got to have field trips to the circus each spring. I am looking forward to grabbing more of your books as well. I love the Appalachian Mountains and the history living in those beautiful hills and valleys. Thanks for the blog video to get to know you and what’s behind your writing…it’s always interesting to learn about the author and what motivates them. BTW…your voice, appearance and mannerisms remind me of a young friend of mine…you could be sisters.
When we lived in La Crosse, we had the opportunity of visiting the Ringling Brothers’ winter quarters with our children. One of our favorite excursions. My children still remember it and some of the fantastic acts we saw. I highly recommend visiting it. It’s fairly small, but fascinating.
Barbara,
It’s a joy to know that Charlie and Ella’s story has captured your attention. I pray that if it ever comes your way, there will be a special blessing in it for you.
Oh wow! What a special place to have grown up! I have a friend and fellow author (Jamie Jo Wright) who lives in Baraboo and she has been so amazing in answering any research riddles that I was stuck on and even sending me photos from around the compound. I bet you have some magical memories from growing up there. It sounds like it! It’s a treat for me to get to hear these stories. π I hope you’ll have an extra special time reading the Lady and the Lionheart and it will spark some of that sweet nostalgia for you. Thanks so much for visiting and for your sweet words.
Such a special memory, Marla!
The lady and the lion heart and HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Thank you, Kim!
I haven’t had a chance to read βThe Lady and the Lionheart” so my own copy would be a blessing. I also am eager for your new book to be released. I am a “born and raised Kentuckian” and was still in high school when Bobby Kennedy took a two-day, 200-mile tour across eastern Kentucky to investigate the state of poverty in America. My home is considered Central Kentucky but I have never forgotten that visit and his assassination a few months later!
Blessings!
I mentioned this because President Johnson had declared a War on Poverty a few years earlier and Appalachia was the target area!
Connie, it’s so encouraging to know that these books feel like they’d be up your ally. I truly hope they will be a blessing to you! Sounds like you were in Appalachia during a really pivotal time. What a memory!
Our local Christian church library has some of your books, so I checked out The Lady and the Lionheart. LOVED it! I especially enjoyed the parallel that you drew between Charlie and Jesus. What a beautiful story!
A thrill to know, Marla! So blessed that you were touched by it. THANK YOU and do say a thanks to your librarians from me if you ever get a chance.
The Lady and the Lionheart
Entered, Jenny! π
Thank you! I would love Lady and The Lionheart
You got it, Debra!
I have read The Lady and the Lionheart and This Quiet Sky and they were both wonderful! I still think about the content in these books because of God’s redemption & mercy. I would love to have any of your books. I went to my local Christian bookstore, Lifeway, to purchase your other books and they had not heard of you. I told them that they will hear of you soon because of your new publishing company. I’m looking forward to your sequel of the Lady & the Lionheart. Keep up the good writing! It’s so cool that your book will be published in German! Wunderbar!
A joy to know, Carolyn, thank you! It means a lot to me that these stories have touched you. You all are the reason I do this! It’s also meaningful that you went into Lifeway and asked after the books. If they ended up stocking them because of that, it’s such a special seed planted and I thank you dearly.
Joanne, I loved the video! I enjoy your stories so much! I would love to add The Lady and the LionHeart to my keeper shelf.
Thank you, Caryl! I’ll put your name into the hat with L&L π
Joanne, What fun. The Lady and the Lionheart is on my “Get This” list and hearing you talk about it makes me want it even more. So if…
So enjoyed hearing your unique way of writing and THEN researching. And the blessing of “just happening” to sit with a carnie kid! (BTW, I so sympathize with trying to get some obscure historical detail.Been there.) What a delight to be under contract with Thomas Nelson. Wishing you many more fun days of writing great stories, my friend.
Greetings Mary Kay! Thanks bunches for having it on your “get this” list. what a delightful place for it to be!!!
Appreciate all your warm wishes. This process has been such a blessing in my writing life. I couldn’t be more thankful to the team at Thomas Nelson. Hope to see you again one of these days! Best wishes for your writing.
I do enjoy your novels. It was hard to choose, but. I believe I would enjoy Lady and the Lionheart.
I do enjoy your books. It was hard to choose. I believe I would really like The Lady and the Lionheart. Thank you for this opportunity.
